The room layout felt cramped, with worn-out furnishings that could use a refresh, including cracked walls and outdated décor. the breakfast selection was rather basic, limiting options that just didn’t feel right considering the surrounding supermarkets.

this hotel is in a nice location, close to the city center n has free parking which is a huge plus. the breakfast was decent too, lots of options for a continetal style. the staff were super helpful, always available n friendly, like gary who made our check-in easy. the room was comfy, had nice heating to keep us warm in the chilly mornings. loved the bar area, perfect for late-night drinks!

I had a fantastic time at this hotel where I enjoyed a lovely room and friendly helpful staff, and I especially appreciated how close it was to both Sefton Park, perfect for leisurely walks, and the iconic Royal Albert Dock just a bit further away, making my city explorations so much easier and more enjoyable.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room for three nights. The hotel had a lovely old-world charm, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The cleanliness stood out immediately, and I appreciated the peaceful environment. The location was fantastic, with a bus stop right outside, making it easy to get into town and explore Liverpool. the mattress was too soft, which caused me some backache, especially after the second night. The bathroom was adequate but quite cold in the mornings. I also noticed that the breakfast was continental, which lacked a full cooked option, and while there were plenty of choices, it could have had a bit more variety. The heating in the room worked well, making it cozy after our outings. I felt like the experience was good, but a few tweaks could make it great.
